Mommy's Spa Weekend

This weekend Mommy went to Williamsburg with your Aunties Jenn, Sarah, and Dana to collectively celebrate the year we turn 30.  Daddy and you stayed home.  And despite Daddy's fears you guys had an amazing weekend together and as he put it you "survived."  You have absolutely the best daddy in the world :)

Grammy Time

Grammy came to stay with for the month of March to watch you while I went back to work full time.  It was amazing having her with us, she helped you get on a more regular schedule and really helped me get back into the swing of working.  Oh and she also helped us buy you a bigger house! And most importantly our new big house has a pool just down the hill.  Grammy had dreams of pulling you down the hill in a red wagon with your floaties on, headed to the pool :)

3 months!

Three months! You love giggling at your daddy, the ceiling fan, sitting in your bumbo, sucking your hands, and singing your own versions of "Bah, Bah Black Sheep" and "Mary Had a Little Lamb"

You no longer enjoy laying on your back in the boppy (you would much rather be sitting up) or sucking on your pacifier.

Working

Today was our first afternoon together during work hours.  It went SUPER well, you boppied and napped while I worked :)

Your Nanny

Now that I am back to work full time you will be spending you days with Miss. Kristen.  She is fantastic and I know you will love just as much as your Dad and I do.  I had a nanny when I was your age and I have such fond memories of my time with her :)  Today was Kristen's first day and your Granny was practically jumping up and down with her approval for her, your grammy is funny like that :)

Giraffe

You have chapped your hands from sucking on them, so we replaced them with this vanilla flavored giraffe from Auntie Dana, you LOVED the flavor :)

The Ellie Spa

Your Grandma has been with us these two weeks as I transition back to work full time.  She started a routine with you last week, every morning around 10:30 or so (after your 9am nap) she washes your face and massages it with lotion...your Ellie Spa.  You laugh and giggle and have a grand old time :)

You might be a thumb sucker

This happened for the first time this past week :)  You have been sucking on your fist for a couple weeks, but only occasionally get the thumb out.

Mommies Week Back to Work

This week was my first week to work full time and today I went into the office, all the way in Fredericksburg!  The hardest part for mommy was walking out the door that morning, but you on the other hand had a fantastic day with Grandma.  You played, giggled, and ate all your bottles with no problems.  You are getting to be so big and independent :)

Hi Tea With the Girls

Your Aunties Jenn, Sarah, and Dana came for Hi Tea today.  We had a fantastic lunch complete with cucumber sandwiches, pigs in a blanket, salad, and muffins....oh of course tea!  It was a great time, you are one lucky lady to have so many Aunties :)
